School Events

Schools have been at the heart of local communities for centuries and perform many duties far beyond the regular Curriculum. For many young people, it's a time to forget the books for a little while, dress up, then meet friends in an energetic atmosphere of popular music and dance in a place they are familiar with and where they are supervised by people they know and trust. Such events create friendships and provide more rounded education of a social kind.

Whatever the age group, Soundmaster has the experience and resources to tailor the musical styles so everyone has a good time and leaves begging for more or else hoping we'll be back soon. For the school, such events can generate some extra income too. The Soundmaster Experience has been seen and heard in several local schools already and has proved to be a major hit with kids, teachers and parents. We stand ready to help at PTA Events, Family Fun Days and School Fairs too. We want everyone to have a good time!

ISSUES CONCERNING SAFETY ARE NOT OPTIONAL!

As you have every right to expect, all equipment used by Soundmaster is tested and certified to Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) standards and we carry Public Liability Insurance (PLI). DJ Gary Nicol, who will host your school event, carries a current Disclosure Scotland Certificate. We can supply details of these well in advance of any event for checking purposes. In addition to this, we may request a brief inspection as to where fire exits are located and ask about fire procedures. Announcements reminding possible guests invited from elsewhere may be included from time to time during the venue as an additional safety measure.
